Is this true? Did the physical exist before the virtual? Have a feeling it's literally the other way around... - Alan

Your doubt is reassuring--I wouldn't feel like I was touching on anything important without it. The psychoanalytical ontological epistemological existential anthropologically linguistic complexity is even yet more complex, of course. It goes without saying as well that the physical existed aeons before the virtual. Though we need not mention that. Your new avatar is indeed a better rep than your computer screen; my avatar _is_ my avatar. I'm not researching or selling anything--just traveling lightly. I try not to eat too many images at one sitting.

I doubt the 'gap between' - the psychoanalytical complexity is much more complex; needless to say that gap existed way before the virtual. Since I'm active researching in SL, I felt my avatar was a better rep; god knows I have enough other images to make me and anyone else sick. - Alan

Yes, that's my best stab at representing me. Some avatars are surprised at my age-appearance--and my RL picture in my profile. My latest understanding--we live in neither the RL nor the virtual, but in the gap between. Of course, I still enjoy my J-LOL avatar from time to time. She's the cool chick that I totally appropriate and own by being her.

Yes, this is the kind of group I was looking for since a year--wide-open art and media interactions. Hope to offer something soon.

Piece up at Arena

I have a piece up at Arena, Uqbar - it goes down tomorrow, January 25, at 3 pm Second Life time. (SLT). If anyone wants to visit, please do! The piece changes constantly - I'd like to get some video of it as well, if you have a way to do it.

Thanks, Alan

Yes, yes, of course.

I am God and when I die God is dead.

(There's little time left to speak to Me.)
(I'm not leaving a forwarding address.)
(Come to think of it.)
(Offerings don't count.)
(Pretty much anything you have to say.)
(Thank you for listening.)

Uselessness of Monoculture

I will call 'monoculture' anything before the advent of the Internet - in
