October 2006

started "Spaced Creative" an open sandbox for artists that occupied 1/4 of a SL server named "Yanguella" in late 2006.

December 2006

Acquired funding with Dynamis Corporation UK for an entire private Linden class 5 server named "Odyssey" for the purpose of providing virtual space to artists, performers, musicians and writers.

January 2007
Initiated and co-curated with Beavis Palowakski a group show of real life and SL artists on Odyssey titled "Exhibit A"

Initiated and curated the first SL Exhibit by artist Ian Murray (Ian Ah) - a permanent residency on Odyssey that includes a "squat" constructed under the Odyssey observation platform and a "lounge" where SL materials are provided, and gatherings and events happen.
April 2007

Initiated, curated and acquired funding for the first retrospective exhibition of SL artist Gazira Babeli, titled: "Collateral Damage" on Odyssey.

May 2007

Acquired funding for the addition of a second Linden server named "East of Odyssey" which is adjacent to Odyssey

September 2007

Initiated, curated and acquired funding for the first major site specific installation "17 Unsung Songs" by Adam Ramona (real life: Adam Nash)

October 2007- April 2008

Administered and hosted on Odyssey the exhibition: "Synthetic Performances" by Eva and Franco Mattes; a series of performances in Second Life that re-create seminal performance works from artists Marina Abramovic and Ulay "Imponderabilia" Joseph Beuys "7000 Oaks" Vito Acconci "Seed Bed", Chris Burden "Shoot", and Valie Export and Peter Weibel "Tapp und Taskino"

2008 - 2009

Alan Sondheim "The Accidental Artist"

Initiated by Ian Ah (Murray), curated the first SL residency/exhibition of Alan Sondheim (aka Alan Dodji in SL)

Ludic Society on Odyssey

Ludic Society, an affiliation of artists working in game design, opened an installation on Odyssey today in concurrence with the release of their 4th edition of their periodical at Tweakfest. Odyssey exchanged the space for placement in the new edition of Ludic Society - I can't wait to see what Max did for us!
