First steps:

- Invite artists and curators
- Prepare the galleries (Parcels ect.)
- We try to bring the facilities and collection into the inventar of avatar Odyssey Portal
(Ian could you please give the PW to me, thank you)
- We try to make more prims / space available on Ody by putting parts of the collection into a rezzer.

Volunteers always welcome.

Briefly just want to say that I felt, in fact, you were elected by the community - it seemed to me that it happened. The issue was the board issue and that's been resolved.
Great start - Alan

done:
- Works on visitors counter
- In the kiosk you will find a notecardgiver called "wallet". There you can have a look at the balances of Odyssey.
- Above the Mattes Piece is now a platform / arrival point for a sky gallery: Gallery B
- A new walkway from the Mattes Piece to Sugars white / red gallery (Gallery C) with prepared sreens for video archive of Mattes performances and other (not yet ready)
- Mr Baudrillard is now fixed on "real" ground not on a lawn platform anymore.
- a walkway leads to the colored house piece and further to the area where Beavis psych work is. That should be the area of Gallery D in future. The wonderfull piece of Beavis could be shown in a rezzer or between exhibits. I contacted him therefore.
- I plan to place a video archive of Ody-Works and artists in the amphitheater, where I did some minor fixes (unvisible).
Of course the theater is still open for event and similar then.
- First talks with artists about exhibits - very vague until now.
- Nonnatus piece will stay until we need place/prims there.

Meanwhile some things were done :
- I talked to some artists, which would like to exhibit. I will send a message to the board to meet about.
- exhibit A-D are prepared:
* exhibit A: Beavis gave textures of the gallery to me, so that it can be restored. I want to totally rebuild it and put a copy into inventory, so that the gallery can be placed whenever needed or taken for another kind of exhibit at this place.
Is there someone in the community as volunteer who wants to rebuild the copy?
* exhibit B: is a landingpoint in the sky on 600m above the mattes piece. Wil be structured as needed for every exhibit. The arrival point is the only fixed thing.
* exhibit C: Is Sugars "Boutique". If needed structures, can be build above too temporary.
* exhibit D: the area of the "Mental Hospital". I like this work a lot and Beavis and his friend were very kind to give the items to me, so that we can take it away and put it back as needed.

- I installed a new information system to guide (newbie) users through the sims. It's not yet perfect and will change with the status of exhibits.

Now it's the main thing to have new exhibits, events and shows.
Applications are very welcome and will be discussed with the board.

Hi - I must say your energy here is amazing! Because of eye surgery, haven't been walking around the space that much, but I will be. Sandy Baldwin will make you a proposal - I'm seeing Foofwa d'Imobillite (dancer) on Monday and will talk to him about possibilities. I'm glad you're returning ZoneA to its previous aspect, although the buildng itself is a bit brittle for installation work - I wonder if something couldn't be done with slidable and easily-removable panels? There also might be an entrance to the water canyon under the floor - I used that as well for my work, but you had to teleport in (or creep through the stairs which I changed). I think it would be exciting to have shows specifically designed for the water environment...

I'll be around on and off - these are harrowing times...

- Alan and again thanks for all the work!

Thank you Alan. Theres always a lot to do in the beginning. I think there could be a building that is needed or no building with every exhibit and I like your ideas. I just want to restore the original as 'historic' building of Odyssey.

Hi,
Just want to clear up that I will NOT be managing the sim.
Lots of thanks for the trust of everybody who wanted me too though ;-)

done:
- here in the ning you find a new "press"-page. It's a beginning of some PR activities that will come
- exhibit C, Sugar's boutique expanded (stairs not yet ready). I tried not to disturb the character of Sugar's build. In the annex I plan to place smaller art pieces by artists that have shown on Ody. Artists please contact me if you would like to place something there. The art should be buyable and 40% go to Odyssey to be reinvested into the projects.
- a art shop will be installed near the landing point - another project to generate some income. There some small art pieces and some "merchandising" products will be sold. Of course we should have high quality and great unusual ideas as always on Odyssey :-) Please engage in building and ideas. I prepare some ideas too.
- above exhibit C, you'll find a new Performance Platform. A simple 80x80m platform with a fixed landing point. You performers let me know what you think, what could be better... thanks
- some donation boxes were placed - all income, as well of art selling and shop items will go to 'Odyssey Portal' who is under Helfes (and Pacinos) control now. O.P. is now the wallet and inventory of Odyssey Sims.

keep on grooving - help Helfe to help Odyssey :-)
